BEIJING SEGMENT of their CHINA TOUR

These Ice Dragons came from the U.S. not Dalian! After some guile and misinformation that they were an old-timer team, imagine our surprise to see several players in their 20's & 30's suiting up to play against the 15 oldest players in Beijing! A great time for all involved!

  Beijing was suffering from the worst air quality of the year - 500+ on the U.S. air quality index that scales 0-300, and the Ice Dragons claimed that this and their strenuous walk through the Forbidden City in these conditions lead to their defeat. Beijing credits Alain Clermont between the pipes, making plenty of quality saves as our reason for victory! Beijing Hockey's senior players passed the puck well and did a good job keeping the puck away from their skilled players.

Many Ice Dragons joined Beijing at the Irish Volunteer where their signed team plaque was put on the Wall of Fame. Camaraderie continued until 2am - when some Beijing players stated "we have to work tomorrow eh!"
