“#99 – The Russian Rocket”

A native son of Moscow, and a product of the Moscow Spartek Club, The Rocket is simply the most talented player in Beijing, though he has yet to understand the meaning of “Back-Check!!!” Roman has left a trail of jock-straps from the Volga to the Pacific, with large quantities left in Hong Kong, Bangkok and Manila. Case in point, in the last tour to Manila, his stats are as follows: 15 goals and 5 assists for 20 points, in just 4 games. The next closest player had 12 points. Famous for his ankle shattering – skate breaking shot, his old triplet belly, getting French fries instead of rice, Russian dancing, and vodka drinking problem, he can usually be found in his private executive VIP booth at Maggie’s entertaining “buizziness people.” The Russian Rocket is a recipient of the famed Finkle Award. Roman had his skills tested in 3 scrimmages against the Chinese Men’s National Team in their preparation for the World Cup Qualifying Tournament.
