Juice”
 
This “Zhongguotong” first came to China in
1976, and remembers playing hockey at the Russian Embassy. As the longest
player of Beijing Hockey, he is also the greatest supporter. His
philanthropy (though some feel that this is how he buys his place on the
team) has included air-tickets for students and teachers, hotel rooms, 4
complete sets of jerseys, use of his company bus, and annual feasts at the
Beijing Royal International Club. Beijing Hockey has been the billboard
for Rougemont Juice across Asia for the past two years. On the ice,
Gervais is a stay-at-home defenseman, but will drop his gloves in a second
to help any of his teammates… even when they don’t need the help.
Gervais’ experience and knowledge of China usually makes him an asset to
the team, but sometimes… we will all agree… he understands all too
well.
