JJ ‘The Hammer Jeakins’ - this veteran of Beijing hockey is an anchor (in a good way) of the Dragons team.  His disdain for pre-game warm ups and stay-at-home defensive style stems from his desire to not expend more energy than is absolutely necessary.

A past winner of the Finkle Award, he has led the international teams astray in tournaments in Mongolia, Hong Kong and Bangkok.  Hammer’s two international highlights are knocking former NHL’er Troy Crowder off the puck on what would have been a breakaway, and then scoring the winning goal on a floater from the blueline against North Bay in Bangkok; and perhaps his greatest achievement - using the benefits of vodka shots as a motivational tool both on and off the ice.
