Fella started his career with Beijing International Hockey in 1994, the same time he was sentenced to the Western Academy of Beijing, and has since yet to learn any of his teammates’ names. This teacher’s students are known only as “Fella” and “Hey you!” He came to Beijing as a power forward, but has become the team’s goalie and bard. Stories of being bitten by ant-eaters, dates with Jane Goodall, attacked by 3 fingered sloths, escaping the Greek coup, Yom Kippur and the IDF, and the 53 finger stories, and his 53 favourite finger-food recipes. In his tours to Manila, Mongolia and Taiyuan, he is known for his enlightening advice to his defensemen, temper-tantrums, and creative use of the English language on ice, this Finkle Award recipient is currently studying his Ph.D. in Visa Renewals from Oxford University. 2008 - Fella starred in "Diamond Dogs" with Dolf Lundgren in this critically acclaimed film!!! You should hear his lines before he gets his throat slit by Dolf! BUT Fella redeemed himself with is Oscar nomination in 2008 for "My Dreams" about CDPF - China Disabled Persons Federation!!! ALSO - Fella wrote the theme song words for the Beijing '08 Paralympics!!! This Thunder Bay boy has lived life!!! |
