Dr. Brain Bedard (Can)

A 5 year veteran of Beijing, Brian (left) tries to fit in as much hockey into his busy schedule as possible. For two years running, the good doctor has helped organize and coach the Beijing International Hockey School, brining the numbers up from 8 to over one hundred in a little over a year. On winter weekend mornings, watch for Brian and his sons beneath the walls of the Forbidden City. The Bedards cruise around the local talent in what we call “Forbidden Hockey” on the Palace Moat. The emperors never had this much fun in the winter. Beijing Hockey is still waiting for Brian’s first tour with the team, job permitting, perhaps this year.
